Thoughts about lack of thoughts about A Scandal in Belgravia
I wrote about 800 words about why I seriously enjoyed A Scandal in Belgravia. This does not mean I don't recognize the problematic points, but really, what I find problematic are not gonna be the same for everyone so really, I just can't even muster more then a token 'oh yeah, that's gonna piss people on the internet off' or 'oh yeah thats kinda fucked up' or 'yeah I see why people would be angry about that'. But I myself don't feel fiery feminist rage about the episode. I am fascinated by Irene and while the narrative leaves much to be desired, I'm probably going to re-watch the whole thing every day this week.

I think I might have anger fatigue.

I kind of feel the same way. I totally get that there were problematic parts of the episode, but man, I had so much fun watching it that I honestly can't bring myself to care. There were just so many great moments.

I hear you. I'm ok that I can't muster to much anger, though I understand why someone else would.

That, and I've been reading a lot of responses on tumblr, and responses to responses and the drama makes my brain ache.
